Do I need a referral?
Yes, all initial evaluations require a referral from the primary care doctor.
*Please note mental health services do not require a referral.
What insurances do you accept?
We participate with major insurance companies including Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, ConnectiCare, Medicaid, United Healthcare, Oxford. However, some insurance participation varies based on therapy discipline.
What if therapy is not covered by my insurance?
If not covered, clients have the option to pay for out of pocket services. Please contact us for out current out of pocket rates. We accept all major credit cards, FSA, and HSA accounts.
What if KidSense is Out of Network (OON) with my insurance company?
We offer out of pocket options for clients and families. In the event your insurance company offers an out of network benefit, you may submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note, the process varies by insurance company.
*You may submit a superbill directly.
What if I want to appeal a decision from my insurance company?
Appeal processes vary by insurance company. Should you need information from KidSense, our billing department will ensure you have all the necessary documentation on our behalf.
How do I request more visits from my insurance company?
Most insurance companies require the member to initiate this process. Here at Kidsense, we can supply you with the information required by your insurance company.
My child receives school-based services, would they benefit from outside services?
School-based services are designed to enhance the student's ability to successfully access the school environment. Outside/Clinic based services can address all skills needed to function across all environments.
