About Me: I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan including the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. My pediatric experience includes school-based, outpatient, in-home physical therapy services, and return to sport specific training. I have worked with children with orthopedic injuries, developmental delays, neurological impairments, and coordination disorders. Additionally, I have knowledge and experience fitting and providing education on the use of adaptive equipment. I am certified in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI): the use of neuroplasticity to make rapid, long-lasting changes in a child's brain, helping them achieve gross motor milestones. DMI encourages the highest level of gross motor independence through exposure to gravity and progressive decrease in support from the therapist When working with children and their families, I like to take a holistic approach toward treatment including collaborating with families and other team members and applying evidence-based practices to increase the gross motor abilities and independence of my patients. I’m excited to be rejoining the KidSense family!
